Meet Missy, founder & designer

Hi, I'm Missy—the founder and designer behind Crow Point Planters.

After a successful career in corporate sales, I followed my passion for design, creativity, and the outdoors to build Crow Point Planters, a boutique seasonal container design business serving homeowners and businesses throughout Boston's South Shore. It's a privilege to help clients create beautiful first impressions through custom seasonal container designs that feel timeless, inviting, and uniquely their own.

I've always believed every property has its own personality, and every great design begins with the perfect container. One of my favorite parts of the design process is sourcing planters that complement a property's architecture and style—they set the foundation for everything that follows. From there, I layer carefully selected flowers, greenery, textures, and seasonal accents to create lush, layered seasonal designs that make a lasting impression. I love creating that unmistakable "wow" moment when someone pulls into the driveway or walks up to a business and instantly feels welcomed.

One of the greatest joys of this business is serving the community that has given so much to my family. Many of the homes I design for belong to friends and neighbors, and the businesses I work with are places my family visits every week. Seeing my work become part of the neighborhoods where we live, shop, dine, and gather is incredibly rewarding. I love when my kids excitedly point out one of our planters as we drive through town. It reminds me just how fortunate I am to do what I love in the community we call home.

At the end of the day, it isn't just about the flowers or the planters. It's about creating spaces where memories are made—from everyday arrivals to life's biggest celebrations. I'm honored that Crow Point Planters gets to be a small part of those moments, season after season.
